Our management ethos is simple, yet effective: we promise Clean Rooms & Friendly Service. Below is a selection of the awards given to our properties in recent years.
2023 Awards:
IHG recognized Waterview Hospitality for 2 consecutive years with the Owner Operator Excellence Award for 2023. This is an extremely selective recognition only for management companies with 3 or more hotels who have won the Torchbearer Award or Spirit of True Hospitality Award.
This award is only given to 11 hotel management/ownership groups for ALL IHG branded hotels in 2023. To qualify you must have had 3 or more award winning hotels and no hotels in the compliance process. This was the second year in a row that Waterview/MPH has won this award of hotel management companies.

This award is given to the hotels that achieve the highest level of excellence. Roughly top 1% of the brand wins this award every year.
IHG awarded 2 of our Holiday Inn Express & Suites with the Torchbearer Award. This is the highest level IHG award possible for a property. The Torchbearer Award is granted to hotels that maintained Elite Status in 2023 and met all Guest Target Metrics. We are proud that our property in Ruskin, Florida and Moundsville, West Virginia achieved this award.
Spirit of True Hospitality Award:
Given to the hotels that achieve the highest levels of excellence, but are not eligible for the Torchbearer Award which is about the top 5% of the hotels.
IHG awarded our Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Ironton, Ohio with the Spirit of True Hospitality Award. To receive this distinction, the hotels maintained Elite Status in 2023 and ranked 90+ in Cleanliness.
2022 Awards:

This award is only given to 9 hotel management/ownership groups for ALL IHG branded hotels in 2022. To qualify you must have had 3 or more award winning hotels and no hotels in the compliance process. This was the first time Waterview/MPH has won this award of hotel management companies.

This award is given to the hotels that achieve the highest level of excellence. Roughly top 1% of the brand wins this award every year.

Given to the hotels that achieve the highest levels of excellence, but are not eligible for the Torchbearer Award which is about the top 5% of the hotels.
IHG awarded 3 of our Holiday Inn Express & Suites with the Spirit of True Hospitality Award. To receive this distinction, the hotels maintained Elite Status in 2022 and ranked 90+ in Cleanliness. We are proud that our property in Ruskin, Florida achieved this award. Also, our properties in Alachua, Florida, and Wildwood, Florida achieved this recognition for their second year in a row.

2020 Awards:
IHG awarded 3 of our Holiday Inn Express & Suites with the Spirit of True Hospitality Award. We are proud that our properties in Ironton, Ohio, Salem, Illinois, and Ruskin, Florida achieved this recognition.
